Updated on June 7th, 2023, by Ritwik Mitra: The PS4 is an excellent console that is full to the brim with amazing games that are a blast to play through. Trophy hunters will have a great time playing through the titles they like and trying to get that elusive and coveted platinum trophy for the ultimate bragging rights. However, players should be aware of the fact that some of these trophies are extremely tough to get, pushing their skills to the very limit. Players will have to invest many hours in these games if they wish to stand a chance of getting a platinum trophy, which may be too much effort for some to bear. Regardless, as long as players keep their heads down and attempt these challenges, they'll be able to secure all trophies. For players looking for a challenge, we've updated this list to include some more of the hardest platinum trophies. The exclusive face that launched a thousand PS4 purchases, the dark, grim, and gothic Bloodborne was one of the most convincing arguments to buy the system at the time of the game’s release. FromSoftware’s latest promised to be every bit as difficult as the Dark Souls series, and it certainly delivered on that front. Even having the best hunter tools in the game will scarcely help. A good deal of Chalice Dungeon delving is needed to collect all the weapons (Hunter’s Essence), all three different endings will need to be seen (Yharnam Sunrise, Childhood’s Beginning, Honoring Wishes) some monstrous bosses will need to be slain, and much more. Hades is launching soon for PlayStation and Xbox across both generations in less than two months, but what exactly can players expect from it in terms of frame rate and resolution? Not to mention the fact that the platinum means nothing without also acquiring the trophies from the DLC, The Old Hunters (where some truly devastating bosses dwell).Fans have been waiting for Hades – one of 2020’s best games – to release for PlayStation and Xbox, and that was finally confirmed recently. On PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, developer Supergiant Games confirms that it will target 4K and 60 FPS.

Meanwhile, on both PS4 and Xbox One, it will target a 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. There’s no word on what resolution and frame rate it will target on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

Meanwhile, Supergiant also states that unlike the game’s Nintendo Switch version, it will not support cross-saves with PC. The Switch version did get cross-save support not long after its launch, so here’s hoping it’s eventually added to PlayStation and Xbox as well.
